Who was Arabella Drummond?

Mary, AKA Arabella Drummond, was a pirate and enemy of Captain William Lubber. To escape marriage to a man she hated, she disguised herself as a man and fled to a merchant ship in the winter of 1715. The ship was captured by Barbary Corsairs and she, along with the others, was forced to row their raiding galleys.

Is pirateology real?

Pirateology is the fictional journal of captain William Lubber (do you know what a lubber is?), who, with his crew, searches for the female pirate Arabella Drummond and her treasure. With a torn map Lubber got from a member of Drummond’s crew, he sails the seas to capture her and find the other piece of the map.
