What is longboard pumping?
Pumping is a skateboarding technique used to accelerate without the rider’s feet leaving the board. Pumping can be done by turning or on a transition, like a ramp or quarter pipe. When applied to longboards, it is also known as Long distance skateboard pumping or LDP.
What causes Wheelbite?
The dreaded wheel bite occurs when a wheel comes into contact with the deck during a turn, stopping the forward motion. This causes a rider to loose balance and/or fall off the board. Adding risers will increase the space between the wheels and the deck, reducing the chance of contact.
Is it hard to turn on a longboard?
Longboards, the lengthy relative of skateboards, are built to provide a comfortable ride while cruising longer distances. Is Wheelbite normal?
It’s normal. You only have to worry about wheelbite if your wheels are stopping you in your tracks when you turn. I think you need risers to stop wheelbite, or higher trucks. Tighten your trucks, or if you like em lose, get riser pads.
What to do when people don’t like you longboarding?

Do You Worry If your longboard gets wet?
