What are number bones?
The adult human skeleton is made up of 206 bones. These include the bones of the skull, spine (vertebrae), ribs, arms and legs. Bones are made of connective tissue reinforced with calcium and specialised bone cells.

How do we classify bones?
Bones are classified according to their shape.
- Long Bones. A long bone is one that is cylindrical in shape, being longer than it is wide.
- Short Bones. A short bone is one that is cube-like in shape, being approximately equal in length, width, and thickness.
- Flat Bones.
- Irregular Bones.
- Sesamoid Bones.
Which bone is called no bone?
