Are wood sticks recyclable?
Wood cannot be recycled through your curbside recycling. While the paper is derived from wood and the former is safe to recycle; generally, recycling centers are not yet equipped with the technology to handle wood.
What bin do ice cream sticks go in?
Make sure you put them in your paper recycling bin when you are finished. Our plastic wrappers and wooden sticks are not currently recycled or collected. We are working on a more recyclable solution, however in the meantime we suggest you dispose of them in the general waste bin.

Glow sticks are generally safe for children. If they break open, dispose of them immediately. If your child happens to ingest some of the chemicals inside, give them water and watch for symptoms such as minor mouth or throat irritation.
